Independent Medicine, DPC offers employers a straightforward, cost‑effective way to provide exceptional primary care for your team. Our membership model delivers unlimited access, same‑day appointments, extended visits, and a physician who truly knows your employees—all for a predictable monthly fee. Pricing varies based on the number of employees you enroll, ensuring a fair and scalable structure for businesses of any size.
1. Employers can pay for DPC memberships as a legitimate medical expense
DPC is now formally recognized under federal law as a “direct primary care service arrangement” and is not considered a health plan. This means employers can fund it without violating HSA rules.
2. Employer-paid DPC fees can be treated as a tax-deductible business expense
Because DPC is classified as a medical service (not insurance), employer contributions can generally be deducted as a business expense—similar to other employer-provided health benefits.
3. Employers can pair DPC with HSAs, HRAs, and high‑deductible plans
Federal law now explicitly allows DPC + HSA compatibility, which was previously a gray area. This opens the door for tax‑advantaged reimbursement structures.

4. Employee Physicals.
Employee physicals are free for members. For non-members, we offer discounts to companies who send multiple employees in for physicals. Please ask for specialized pricing plans.
